Preventative Care

We will do a full and thorough exam on your pet and come up with a treatment plan that meets your pet's needs.  Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, our hospital stresses the importance of once to twice yearly examinations depending on your pet's age, breed, and medical history to keep your pet as healthy as possible.

Our pets age 7 years faster than humans (approximately 7 years for every 1 year we age). Therefore, changes in your pets health can happen extremely fast. Through full examinations we can prevent and detect conditions early, and the earlier we can detect problems, the more we can do to minimize the effects of those problems allowing your pet to live a longer, healthier, and happier life.
